New Milford
(Staff - we’ll have shuttles leave camp at 10 AM every weekday morning and pick up in New Milford at 5:30 PM)

Little Pond Boardwalk (1 mile boardwalk around a large pond)
Ripley Waterfowl Conservancy (80 species of rare & endangered birds)
Ice cream at Arethusa (Ah-mazing ice cream made from local cow’s milk)
Bohemian Pizza & Tacos (the entire restaurant is covered in album covers)
Thorncrest Farm & Milkhouse Chocolate (visit the cows then buy the farm fresh chocolate)
Litchfield Distillery (taste, tour, learn, buy!)

Lake Waramaug State Park (about 20 mins from camp)

Brookfield/Danbury (30 mins from camp)
Stew Leonard’s (The world’s largest dairy store is not to be missed)
IMAX movies (catch a movie on the really big screen)
Danbury Fair Mall (One of New England’s largest shopping centers)
New Haven Day (about an hour from camp)
Peabody Museum (Free but pre-register for this awesome natural history museum)
Pizza crawl walking tour (New Haven pizza is a big deal)

New Milford River Trail (Park at River Road. A nice easy walk (or bike ride), and you can wade in the river)
